STRIDE Data Access

Terms of Use

STRIDE datasets are provided to support responsible research, education policy analysis, and evidence-informed public discussion. By downloading data from the platform, users are expected to use the material carefully, cite it properly, and respect the limits of the underlying sources.

Responsible Use

Users should interpret STRIDE data with care and avoid claims that go beyond what the data can support. Comparisons across countries, years, indicators, and reform categories should consider data coverage, definitions, survey design, and context.

Citation And Acknowledgement

Publications, reports, presentations, and derivative analyses should acknowledge STRIDE and cite the relevant underlying data sources, including international assessment datasets and the policy reform database where applicable.

No Misuse

  • Do not present downloaded data in a misleading or decontextualised way.
  • Do not imply endorsement by STRIDE, the European Union, UKRI, or partner institutions unless explicitly agreed.
  • Do not attempt to identify individuals or use the data for discriminatory, harmful, or unlawful purposes.

Verification

Users remain responsible for checking their analyses, transformations, visualisations, and conclusions. STRIDE provides an integrated exploration environment, but downloaded data should be reviewed before use in formal outputs.

These terms are a working version and may be refined as the platform develops. Continued use of downloaded STRIDE data should follow the most recent terms published on this page.
