Step 1: Select an Indicator

Below is a dropdown list featuring the names of various indicators available for selection.

Step 2: Select the Year

Choose the year for which you want the data displayed. The dropdown list of years is dynamically generated, corresponding to each indicator. If a year is not listed, it means we do not have data for that year for the selected indicator. For indicators without year data, this dropdown will be disabled.

Step 3: Select a Breakdown

In the options menu, users can select one of the breakdowns they wish to visualize. The breakdown options are dynamically loaded based on the chosen indicator, providing specific insights tailored to user interests.

1. The value of the selected indicator for the respective country is pointed out in the bar οn the interactive map.
2. In the first diagram the selected country is displayed in grey so that the user easily understands its position in comparison to the rest of the countries for the selected indicator.
3. Provided that there is timely data for the selected indicator, the second diagram will show the evolution of the indicator through the years for the respective country.

This map was designed and developed by Stride's researchers: Giorgos Filandrianos, Electrical and Computer Engineer (NTUA), with a PhD from the Artificial Intelligence and Learning Systems Laboratory, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), NTUA, and Professor Maria Symeonaki from the Department of Social Policy, Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. Both researchers are part of a research group at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA).
